Shipping & Returns

Delivery Information

At Choclatique, we go the extra mile to make sure our customers receive the freshest chocolate confections in the best possible condition. Our first priority is to make sure each order, whether for yourself or your gift recipients, reaches its destination in perfect condition every time. That is why we ship via UPS.

  • Local Pick-up: For local pick-ups, orders received before 1 PM will be ready for pick-up after 3 PM on the same business day. Orders received after 1PM will be ready for pick-up the following business day. Business hours for pick-up are 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday or weekends, by appointment. 
  • Transit Time:  Please note UPS picks up at 5:00 PM from the Choclatique Studio in Los Angeles.  This "ship day" is not counted in the transit time the order travels to its destination. 
    • Ground Shipments:  Add 1 day to the transit time (shown on the map) to determine delivery date.  If shipped on a Monday and the transit time is three days, the package will deliver three days later on Thursday.
    • 2-day Air Shipments:  If shipped on a Monday, the package will deliver two days later on Wednesday.
    • Next Day Air Shipments: If shipped on a Monday, the package will deliver the next day.
  • Shipping Days/Types: Unless a future date is specified, orders received before 1 PM Pacific Time will ship the same day (if a shipping day; see below); orders received after 1 PM Pacific Time will be shipped the next available shipping day:

  • Warm Season/Warm Destinations: When shipping to warm destinations, we use gel packs and insulated packaging to ensure your chocolate arrives in excellent condition. During the warm season, orders are never shipped over the weekends. However, Saturday delivery is available to many destinations at additional cost. To arrange for a Saturday delivery, please call the Choclatique Concierge at 310-479-3849.

  • NOTE: When extreme temperatures arise, certain destinations (including but not limited to Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nevada and Florida) may require expedited service. We will monitor temperatures at the shipping destination and contact our customer to advise if a change in shipping date or shipping type is required.

  • Delivery Addresses: Please double-check the accuracy of your shipping address. Choclatique is not responsible for packages that are returned as undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package needs to be re-sent or re-routed, separate shipping charges will apply at the customer’s expense. We are unable to ship to Post Office boxes.

  • Delivery Areas: We ship to U.S. destinations only; a surcharge applies for destinations in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (please see chart below). For shipments to APOs or FPOs, please contact us at 310-479-3849 or email us.

  • It is a good idea to notify gift recipients that a package is on the way so that they know to look for it or make receiving arrangements; we suggest shipping to a business address whenever possible. Please Note: UPS has permission to leave package at the recipient's address even if no one is there to sign for it. Choclatique will not be responsible for packages that are stolen or damaged after delivery to the address specified. If you select "Signature Required for Delivery," your package will not be delivered unless it is signed for. If no one is present upon the first delivery attempt, UPS will make two more attempts before they return the package to us. Choclatique will NOT refund purchases (the cost of the product, plus shipping) if the product is damaged or melted after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us by UPS.

  • Gift Cards are available at no additional charge. Gift wrapping, beyond the decorative Choclatique ribbon, is not available at this time.

  • Your satisfaction is our goal. If you are not satisfied with your Choclatique purchase for any reason, please contact us immediately to arrange for the return of the items to us for a refund, replacement or exchange.
