It is slightly smoky and far less sweet, allowing the natural flavors of the foods you are enhancing to come through. We discovered that we much prefer the taste of burnt caramel sauce on chocolate desserts. You can eat this wonderful sauce right out of the jar, but it is also great to accompany fresh or pouched gruit, puddings, a pint of vanilla or coffee ice cream. (11-ounces)
